Annie Lenzke
Unparalleled Experience
Annie worked six years in account management at Chicago’s largest advertising agency, the Leo Burnett Company. During her tenure at the prestigious agency, Annie managed an array of brands for two of the agency’s blue chip clients, Disney and Kellogg. For Disney, Annie facilitated the strategic platform, creative development, and execution of the first global Disney advertising initiative to launch Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary. Annie also managed several high profile Disney corporate projects: Magic Happens corporate brand building campaign and the Disney Wild About Safety Campaign for all theme parks.
Annie did extensive work across the Kellogg portfolio of brands. She conducted strategic analysis, creative development, and research to grow the Froot Loops, Rice Krispies, and All Bran brands. The multimedia campaign for All Bran won a coveted Effie Award for effective advertising.
Competitive Advantage
With over 90% of buyers using the Internet as a tool in their home search, online expertise is critical. Annie’s invaluable digital experience was enhanced through her management of Kellogg’s crown jewel and largest brand, Special K, during one of Kellogg’s biggest new product launch to date. The very successful product launch included a revolutionary digital partnership with Yahoo! that Annie spearheaded for the agency.
Annie’s been licensed in real estate for over 10 years and has worked with Jean Royster for over 4 years, during which time their business has flourished in one of the most challenging real estate markets in history. Having the opportunity to utilize her extensive background in advertising, marketing, and online strategy to assist buyers and sellers with one of their primary investments has been extremely rewarding for Annie. She is constantly evaluating new technologies and ensuring that their clients have the very best exposure and tools to achieve their housing objectives.
Background
Annie graduated Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Business and Fine Arts. She excelled at U of I and was consistently on the National and University Dean’s Lists, a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and inducted into the Senior 100 Honorary for outstanding leadership and unique contributions to University. Annie was an active and awarded member of the University Student Ambassadors, Chi Omega Women’s Fraternity, and a public relations representative and football recruiter for the University’s Football Program.

This dynamic group of 60 civic and business leaders is committed to fostering an appreciation of the museum's collections with new audiences and provides financial support to the museum. A true sports enthusiast, Annie has also captained many co-ed and women’s recreational sports teams in Chicago.
Like Jean, Annie also has great compassion for animals. She has been a foster parent for homeless dogs and a volunteer for Chicago Canine Rescue and New Leash on Life Chicago. Although she refers to herself as a ‘foster failure’, it’s because she quickly adopted two of the foster pups that she was trying to find homes for and adopted a third one to Jean.
Born and raised on the north shore, Annie loved moving back into the area from Chicago and buying a home with her Lake Forest High School sweetheart and husband, Jake. They are excited to raise their son, Morgan, in this wonderful community where they grew up.
