Bannockburn, 27 miles north of the Loop,
is a community for people who enjoy a
quiet country like lifestyle. It has been
called “one of the North Shore’s best-kept
secrets”.

Housing. Most of the custom-built homes

was $1,536,785. In Bannockburn there

Schools. Elementary school students
attend Bannockburn School District 106.
The nicely equipped school rates highly
in the academic programs, with IGAP test
scores routinely among the highest in
the state.
High school students attend District 113,
Deerfield High School, one of the top 10
academic schools in the state. In 2006,
the school’s average ISAT composite score
was 94.7.
Transportation
The Tri-State Tollway
(I-294) is minutes away, and commuters
can expect to arrive in the Loop in about
40 minutes. Drive time to O’Hare Airport
is 20 minutes, while Midway is an
hour away.
Metra commuters board trains at the
convenient Deerfield Station for a 39-
minute trip to the Loop by express and
48-minutes by local.
